the protagonist
My good old friend Emily interviewed and wrote about Haruki Murakami for the Wall Street Journal. He is my favorite contemporary writer (but contary to popular opinion, "Hardboiled Wonderland..." is the best) and almost never does interviews. She made me keep it hush-hush for awhile, but now the article is out and it's just great.

And elsewhich: Victory on the insurance appeal I took care of on my father's behalf while he was in a coma. Now: full coverage for services rendered. Awesome.
