too many fashion posts
Dropped waist dresses are a bad style. They make thin women look like poles, and make everyone else look refrigerator-shaped. Even though they're all the rage right now, don't wear them.

those that were saved
Sometimes part of my job is to go through fashion-related images to pick the ones I want to use in ads, etc., and I save some of the ones that strike me for no particular reason except that I like them:

It seems I like black and white clothing, but especially white.

girls love clothes
And while we're on the fashion tip, one of my clients is working with this fashion stylist and I recently worked with some of the neat-o images.

less trivial
A more authentic Rambo Ambo than I.

simulacrum and cum on feel the noize
A scan from the first page of my notebook:
I see two faces here: one facing right, and the other facing left.

The one facing left looks like a kind and maybe feminine orc. Swine-like.

This day in music...
1973, Slade's 'Com On Feel The Noize', entered the UK at No.1, making Slade the first act to achieve this since The Beatles.

...and the nice mailman brought me a few new records I ordered, including Louis XIV's The Best Little Secrets are Kept (which was raunchy enough to keep me awake on this lethargic and work-laden morning).

Your Senator needs an iPod.
